“We went for the first time to sit and try the food,the atmosphere was great,very clean and the food was definitely worth it. It was a 10/10 I got the fried catfish with the Louisiana dirty rice and a kool-aid,my boyfriend got a burger with the Mac and cheese and it was good as well. We will definitely be back highly recommend thanks for the great hospitality.”

“Ate here yesterday after church. We had the shrimp bowl, chicken pop bowl, open faced shrimp po boy, Mac n cheese , red beans & rice and bread pudding. Let me tell you...def 10/10 on taste, quantity and presentation. The staff was so friendly and wait time was fairly quick. The atmosphere was fun and the music had me catching myself with my head bopping and toes tapping. I highly recommend this place for something different in the temple area. I'd like to try the burgers next! Try it....you will not be disappointed!”

“I've been sleeping on this one! Y'all, this food is legit. I had the open face shrimp po'boy and a bowl of gumbo. The wife had a traditional shrimp po'boy and fries. It was all awesome. Highly recommend...fat boy approved!”

“What a treat in downtown temple…and no pun intended since it’s in the old DQ! But this place is a real gem. First of all it’s IMMACULATELY clean which is always a great sign. The service was awesome, and the food was not only speedy but delicious. The chicken lollipops (drumsticks) I got are unique, awesome crunch, super moist and juicy…and the sauce (garlic honey I think) was terrific. Get the dirty rice too! I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!”

“Easily a hidden gem that needs more attention, you don’t want to miss their overwhelming po boy flavor selection they are not stingy with the size, I tried their red beans and rice that makes Popeyes in shamble, the customer service is super friendly and spot on, they have more so much more in their menu that I’d like to try the next time I come :) oh the atmosphere and music was the cherry on top.”

“Definitely worth the drive from Killeen.I order the Porkchop bowl. The pork chop was a thick cut, very well seasone. The red beans and rice., with the dirty rice was an excellent choice for this bowl also the Louisiana Cajun gravy very nice touch”

“First time here. Loved the lollipop chicken, fried catfish and banana pudding. Red beans & rice along with Mac & cheese. Amazing! Everything has a little Cajun spin and flavor. So yummy and definitely worth a try. Next time will try poboys & gumbo. Very pleased we gave it a try and will come back again. Felicia was great server and knows all the details on menu.”
