“Had my order to go. It was my first time there and I got the recommended fried ribs and fires. First time trying fried ribs. The atmosphere was nice with r&b music playing. The service was great. I was handed my sweet tea and encouraged to enjoy it and they'd fill me up before I left. The fries.... my new favorite in town. The ribs, also delicious. These people know how to season food. Without a doubt you will probably not order anything there that you could consider bland. I will definitely go again. You should definitely try it.”

“Definitely worth the drive from Killeen.I order the Porkchop bowl. The pork chop was a thick cut, very well seasone. The red beans and rice., with the dirty rice was an excellent choice for this bowl also the Louisiana Cajun gravy very nice touch”

“Two of us dined in, had the Bourbon Lollipops, fries, open faced poboy chicken sandwich, and Mac and cheese. Fries are the hand cut kind (my favorite). Friendly staff, good food. Wanted to get a dessert but they were out (they were making a cobbler but we came mid day between lunch and dinner so understandable). Want to try other things and the dessert. Will definitely be back.”
